This Privacy Policy applies to the processing of personal information by PointOne (“PointOne,” “we,” “us” or “our”) that is connected via our website available at https://pointone.ai/ (the “Site”).

 

DISCLOSURE REGARDING CUSTOMER DATA. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the personal information that we process on behalf of our customers pursuant to a written agreement we have entered into with such customers (“Customer Data”). Our customers’ respective privacy ­policies govern their collection and use of Customer Data. Our processing of Customer Data is governed by the contracts that we have in place with our customers, not this Privacy Policy. Any questions or requests relating to Customer Data should be directed to our customer.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in our sole discretion. If we do, we will let you know by posting the updated Privacy Policy on our website, and/or we may also send other communications.

A.   Personal Information You Provide to Us Directly.

PointOne’s processing of your personal information will not result in a decision based solely on automated processing that has a legal or other similarly significant effect on you unless such a decision is necessary as part of a contract we have with you, we have your consent, or we are permitted by law to engage in such automated decision making.

  1. RETENTION AND DELETION OF GOOGLE USER DATA.


Google Workspace API Data Usage. We affirm that any data accessed through Google Workspace APIs is not used to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning (ML) models. Our use of Google Workspace data is strictly limited to providing the services outlined in this Privacy Policy and complying with applicable legal and contractual obligations.


  1. PROTECTION MECHANISMS FOR SENSITIVE DATA.

We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of sensitive personal information. Sensitive personal information refers to the various categories of personal data identified by privacy laws as requiring special treatment, including information about health, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, trade union membership, genetic and biometric data, or sexual orientation.

To safeguard sensitive data, we implement the following data protection mechanisms:

  • Encryption. Sensitive information stored on our servers is encrypted using advanced encryption techniques to ensure that data is protected against unauthorized access.

  • Access Control. Access to sensitive data is strictly restricted to authorized personnel who have a legitimate business need to access the information. We enforce robust access controls and regularly review access permissions.

  1. RETENTION AND DELETION OF GOOGLE USER DATA.

We acknowledge the importance of responsible data retention and the deletion of user data, particularly data collected through Google services. Our policy regarding the retention and deletion of Google user data is as follows:

  • Data Retention. We retain Google user data only for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. The specific retention period for different types of Google user data depends on the nature of the data and our legal obligations. Once the retention period expires, data is securely deleted or anonymized.

  • Data Deletion. Users have the right to request the deletion of their data at any time. Upon request, PointOne will delete the user's Google data from our servers in a timely manner, in accordance with applicable legal requirements. This includes all copies of the data, unless retention of the data is required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

  • Automated Deletion. We have implemented automated processes to ensure the timely deletion of Google user data that is no longer needed for the provision of our services or has reached the end of its retention period.

  1. YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES AND RIGHTS.

 

Your Privacy Choices. The privacy choices you may have about your personal information are described below.

 

  • Email Communications. If you receive an unwanted email from us, you can use the unsubscribe functionality found at the bottom of the email to opt out of receiving future emails. Note that you will continue to receive transaction-related emails. We may also send you certain non-promotional communications regarding us and the Site, and you will not be able to opt out of those communications (e.g., communications regarding the Site or updates to this Privacy Policy).


  • “Do Not Track.” Do Not Track (“DNT”) is a privacy preference that users can set in certain web browsers. Please note that we do not respond to or honor DNT signals or similar mechanisms transmitted by web browsers.
